Painting Pumpkins for Halloween

In my art therapy class today, I brought acrylics to paint pumpkins in celebration of Halloween or Day of the Dead.    We wore black and listened to dark mood music (by Dead Can Dance) as we slathered the pumpkins with color.  Black & white were most popular.  Here are some of our creations:



This is my cat-o-lantern:

A friendly face with a glitter back.

Pock marked guy with glasses.



It's hard to see how glittery this one is.  It was everyone's favorite.


This one has a message for soldiers.  Think about what you are pulling the trigger for.

 A fierce, buck-toothed guy on front and blue sky at his back.
