I'm back in the land of the living now, slowly getting back to work. Here is something I did while I was sick:
Many people have asked me to create something in colored paper but the kind of papercutting I've do (kirigami) requires a lightweight yet flexible and dense paper. I've recently acquired a ream of duet paper which I wanted to try for kirigami. What I've found is that it works wonderfully. In fact, it cuts like butter, smooth and flexible. Here is the evolution of this papercut using fadeless duet paper.
