First Needle Felting: FrankenBunny

I've always been fascinated with wool felting. There are so many beautiful felted flowers, toys, bags, clothes, shawls.... Recently I decided to try a small project as my first felting experience: making a little bunny rabbit for my grandchild. The technique is simple but getting the shapes right, I found, is a bit trickier.

Here's the two movie project I fashioned in my Night Studio last evening.

This little bunny gave me a good laugh when he was done. Poor thing. He's a bit hunchbacked, cross-eyed, and lame. His arms are at different heights on his body.

One ear is larger than the other and his nose looks more like a pig's than a rabbit's.

That's OK. He's still Number One.
