Tomorrow I will return home from my vacation - back to the studio. Until then, here is a mandala I cut the other day. Papercutting is a nice thing to bring on trips, like knitting, because you can do it anywhere with just a few tools, as long as you are careful to clean up after yourself. Its a good conversation opener as well. People are fascinated with papercutting. I've often encouraged others to join me, as I have more than one scissors and punches in my case. If I had mounting material with me, I could sell what I cut right then and there. LOL.
I brought some canvases and my painting equipment too but it rarely seems convenient to set all that up, paint, and then manage the wet canvas while traveling.
