I have been organizing my inventory of artwork and came across some older black and whites. "Drooping Flower" is one of them. Although my ink botanicals are much more elaborate and well crafted now, I like the spontaneity of some of this older work. I was more into fooling around then and a certain whimsy comes through in the designs. I liked to put borders around everything and I hadn't started using my signature stamp (see older post) in my designs yet.
"Drooping Flower" is fairly small compared to my current work. It is ink on stonehenge paper, about 5x7 inches.
